Something new I've learned about is Salmonellosis or a Salmonella infection and how it affects the body. It is a bacterial infection that involves the intestinal tract. It lives in both animals and humans and is spread through fecal matter. Anyone can get it if they do not wash or cook their food properly. I learned about how farmers are using antibiotics and how the antibiotics may be negatively affecting that animal as well if it is not initially infected. The animal may build up a resistance for no reason! Salmonellosis can either be minor or fatal. The levels vary with how bad the infection is. Minor cases are treatable and will resolve within a few days or weeks. The first meme I created myself! The second is a gif I found of nutella- something we all love- being contaminated with raw fish!
